Large Protective Cover with Heated facility

These larger covers help prevent malicious or accidental false fire alarms. The Stopper II heated enclosure protects pull stations, manual call points’s and similar devices located where temperature or environmental conditions exceed the suggested operating range. The Stopper II heated enclosure has two main models in the product series.

Protective enclosure with a built in 240 VAC heater

  • Protects devices located in areas where the temperature or environmental conditions are extreme.
  • The enclosure will not hinder legitimate operation in the event of an emergency.

Tough, clear UV-stabilised polycarbonate material

  • Tough UV-stabilised polycarbonate housing can withstand the severest of knocks preventing any vandalism or accidental damage to the manual pull stations.

Suitable for indoor and outdoor applications

  • Accommodates most manual pull stations.
  • The station cover, when mounted on a smooth surface, provides a rain tight seal similar to a 3R enclosure rating.

Integral 240 VAC heater

  • Heater units cycle is required to maintain the correct range of operating temperatures.
  • Maintains operating initiating device temperature with external temperatures to 57°C (-70°F).

  • Available in a range of colours to accommodate a variety of applications.
  • Comes standard with an “IN CASE OF FIRE – LIFT COVER PULL FIRE ALARM” label.
  • Custom labelling available.
  • Three year guarantee against breakage of polycarbonate in normal use (one year on electromechanical and electronic components).
  • Please note: Due to the curvature of these models, the depth stated will vary.
  • Typical working properties of polycarbonate are -40° to 121°C (-40° to 250°F).
